Artist Statement
I am a community-based artist, coach, and trauma-informed consultant with a lifelong commitment to healing and transformation. My work with clay is deeply rooted in the belief that art—especially the tactile, grounding process of pottery—can offer a path to restoration for people navigating adversity, stress, and trauma.
Whether it's someone rebuilding after violence, navigating grief, or simply feeling disconnected from community, I offer an entry point to creativity that doesn’t require prior experience—only a willingness to touch the earth and try.
My goal is to bring pottery to those who would not otherwise have access: individuals in shelters, recovery centers, community organizations, or simply without the means to pay for studio classes. I bring a unique blend of artistic training, therapeutic insight, and trauma-informed care to every project—creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and free to explore their stories through clay.
